Can a OS be created and stored
Ok here is what i have
1 new acer aspire x3450 (7 days old)
win 7 home premium 64 bit 6GB ram 4TB hard drive 2x2 TB
Now its full of bloat-ware as new machines are also it had the acer back up junk installed
Here is what i have done i reformatted the main drive (nice and clean) then installed win 7 home (just to get the boot loader installed)
i created a 5GB partition and and made it bootable and placed my win 7 on it and rebooted and it auto installed win 7.
This now allows me to either boot in to win 7 or install win 7 with out a dvd or usb stick
So my question is
As i have a win 7 option to install can i create a iso image of my OS with all updates and sp1 and my default software i use.
And then install that iso image on my magic 5GB storage so if i format again at any time i dont have to sit and install all the updates ?
I can change the 5GB to a larger partition as 5GB just wont take it .
