How to find and delete a scheduled task

    Win7 Ultimate x64

I created a basic task while experimenting with the task scheduler. I created a console message that would produce a pop up that said,"Remember to focus." Again, it was only me playing with the scheduler.
I set it to run one time only at a few minutes after I created the task. or so I thought.
Beginning that day and every day since, at around ten in the morning I get that pop up displaying my message.
What I need to know is, how do I recognize that task in running tasks so I can manage/delete it. I have looked up and down the list and opened other folders to see if it was in there but I am unable to find it.
Can one of the forum members who is versed in the operation of the task scheduler explain to me how I can do that? Thanks a million

Have you checked the Task Scheduler Library, that middle board? It might be there.

Yes, thank you I did. I ran up and down the local scheduler but got a little overwhelmed by the number of directories. Then, the Library and in the Library I took it one by one. The first one, I highlighted and chose Properties. Thereafter, all I had to do was press the down arrow and it refreshed the properties for that task.
It made it easier but I was unable to locate either the directory or the task.

    Thanks for the reply

Get NirSoft TaskSchedulerView, it's free and portable.
Task Scheduler Viewer for Windows 10/7/8/Vista

It makes it much easier working with Scheduled Tasks.
You can search, sort by any column, etc.

David E. Thanks so much. That was perfect. It figures that NirSoft would have the solution. I've used ShellexView for years. Very well written software. And this is no exception. It was as you said, easy to choose columns, it identified my task for me and I disabled it. Thanks again
