    Blocked Sharing?


    Have you blocked "sharing" on that folder?

    Yes, it is blocked, but I did not do that.

    I have had that happen to me.
    I think program glitches may be responsible.
    I don't know which programs have done it on my PC, as it's only happened a couple of times.

    Actually, that's the default behavior of Windows 7 for your user folder, for what it's worth.

    Yes, there are folders that (by default) Windows doesn't want you to share .

    That's fair enough.

    I guess I should have been more specific.
    It has happened to folders that I have created (on different partitions to the OS) and I didn't block sharing.
      My Computer
