Cannot find Chinese icon in My Computer so I can delete it.

I have this hanging icon listed in catagory "Other" in MY COMPUTER. It' labeled in Chinese letters so I have no idea what it is even though I suspect it is from a USB driver card that was installed.
Anyway, it's not needed and I cannot figure out how to remove the icon.
I have seen suggestions as follows:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\......... ....]
but the Chinese letters don't show up when I search there.
Any ideas how I can find this and remove it?

    thanks for the help.

By "icon" do you mean a shortcut? If so, try right clicking the mouse, then click Properties. See what is in the Target line.

NO, it's not a short cut.
My options are "open" ('application cannot be found") or "create a short cut"

If it's shown in Computer then the system thinks it's a storage. Chances are it's from a USB key that got removed. The "Chinese" letters may just be Unicode. Explorer has a lot of old code that likes ANSI.

I would install Unlocker and try right clicking to remove it.

Ok,,,I download Unlocker and went to COMPUTER, found the chineese icon, clicked on it and 1000's of entries came listed of what seems like almost every program on my PC.
How do I go about finding it?

Possibly a threat? Have you scanned with your antivirus and antispyware programs?

It sounds like it's a "shadow" of another icon. Like it could be a messed up duplicate of drive C. Do you have a Restore Point from before the problem? It's likely something messed up in the Registry. But a registry fixer might mess up your system even more. A restore point would likely be safer.

Response 1: It's not a threat; just an annoyance.
Response 2: If I roll back to an earlier restore, I will get more than just "this" annoyance.
