    Safe to Remove Hardware Notification

I am running the RC in Windows Classic Mode for the display. When I click the Safely Remove Hardware to disconnect my external USB HD, I do not get the bubble that I got under XP telling me that it was now safe to remove the device. This also is the case under one of the Win 7 themes.

Have I set up something wrong?

    Thank you.

    Hello Jsquareg,

Strange, you should get a notification message for this.
Safely Remove Hardware - Eject Device

Double check to see if you may have notifications disabled, or set to short of a time to display notifications.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Thank you very much, Shawn.

I, too, thought it strange. I followed the steps in the links and after downloading the enable notifications reg file things are no longer strange. The notification shows up just fine.

    I appreciate the help.
