If you are having a mouse problem or any other problem all you have to do is start a new Thread with your problem and we are here to help.
I agree with you Bear I have had that many mice (both sorts LOL!!) and never have had a problem with the system and I think it more likely to be the software that the mice themselves download.

That is itself becoming more and more complex as the brands put more into them. Personally I never pay over $30-40 for a mouse (usually around $25 if that) I just do not see the need and as for wired or non wired well I prefer wired. At those prices replacements are minimal cost.

The only things I adjust in Control Panel are the double click speed the cursor movement speed and the cursor size. I don't see the necessity for mucking around in the OS for the problem.

Windows 7 64Bit

I don't intend to start up this thread again, i just thought i'd make a pointless comment.

As for the mouse makers software, you're probably right. I suspect it's a combination of the MS drivers and the Logitech drivers being installed together. Having said that, my mouse has 9 buttons - and the only way to configure them (for productivity or gaming) is via the Logitech software. Not installing that software is not an option.

Heh, it's only been a day, and my freezing mouse problem is/was quite infrequent, but so far unticking "enhanced pointer precision" and rebooting has resulted in no more freezes. I honestly doubt that's the fix for me. But hilarious if it is.

Fear not, if i want to start this up again, it'll be in a new thread.
