Hmm, I am not on facebook and I don't want to be there. So I cannot thank them for their kind mention. Is that a bad decision ??

I don't think so. I know that there are those who swear by these social networking sites, but I for one will never use the likes of Facebook, etc.

Several things about these sites just don't make for good security.

Comments by the Facebook chief executive, sealed the deal for me, it was something like it's not his problem if people are too stupid to take care of their own security....

I have a Facebook account but rarely use it. On top of it being an easy way for some perv to stalk you, there's no real enjoyment in it. IMHO, people merely use it to get excited about how popular they are when they get a like or notification. The only thing it's really good for is to catch up with friends but it's nowhere near as good as meeting them in person or Skyping/calling.

No Face Book here and never will be. I will and am congratulating all who have received this award right here on Windows 7 Forum.

Yes I use it to keep in touch with friends I used to work with. I don't live near them so it's convenient. Not much use for anything else though.

Well congrats to SevenForums and good luck to all it's membership of which I proudly count myself. This forum has transformed my enjoyment of computing by having a place to ask for and offer help. All while having watchful eye's to make sure things stay on course and are appropriate to the nurturing of knowledge and friendship. Cheers and again good luck all !
