Windows 7: You can't format with the 7000 Beta?

In there it will give you the option to delete, create, format, anything you want to do with hard drive partitioning.

This was the same in Vista as well so if you are familiar with that it should be straight forward.

I used that option but it formatted it way too fast, it seemed as if it just did a quick erase, so just to be sure i booted with the xp cd instead, deleted the partition, made a new one, formatted it and quit before install, and then booted with the windows 7 installation.

Have you guys actually re-installed or fresh-installed the official ISO , or you just got your keys and added them to your Build 7000 that u already had? Is there a difference? Have you noticed? Or is it identical build?
