Right click on empty space, -> sort by -> ascending / descending
There are a world of new options in the sort and group menus.
Just experiment with it.

Yes, Kari, that's what I mean exactly, and no squonksc, I checked that, it's not an organizational thing. But thanks for getting me to explore

Well, you did ask organize.

Glad you got it sorted.

I appreciate you for sure, I said "organize" because thats the explorer drop-down where you would find the select all, and what used to be Invert selection choices, among other choices

Isn't/Wasn't that called edit?

Yes rsvr85, the xp edit menu that was changed in vista, and I guess I 'll have to look for a hack or an explorer program to get this feature. After using vista all this time you'd think I would have missed that feature before now, but when you want to take a few files and delete or move the rest it was handy.
