Favorites folder Expand bug

Hi,

Two days after a fresh install of Windows 7, I experience a strange bug. It's a problem with the Expand function under Navigation Pane's Favorites folder. Favorites folder "Expand" is greyed out.
Other folders like Libraries and Computer expand function is OK, only have problems with Explorer's Favorites folder.

Right clicking on Favorites and click "Restore favorite links" restores the clickable small triangle at the front of the line/row, and also restores the "Expand" title in black bold, but bothing else: the expand function still doesn't work when I click the small triangle, and after just one click the Expand line is greyed out again. There is no "Collapse" function at all, only "Expand".

Left click and open the Favorites folder all the previous 13 links/shortcuts are still there and working, I just want to reach them as the Navigation Pane's Favorites folder expand list...

Meantime, I had to reinstall my whole dual-boot system (Windows 7 & XP SP3)... I think the problem was caused by CCleaner. Unfortunately I missed this point, 'cause I've found your thread (FREE Great Programs for Windows 7) too late:

"WARNING: Be sure to verify the scan results in the registry cleaner feature before allowing them to be deleted. Otherwise you could delete important registry entries that could hose your Windows 7 installation."
