router problems with win 7

    Your best option is to connect your pc to the router with your ethernet cable and do all the windows updates. 9 times out of 10 this will find and install any drivers you need.

    my computer is at the other side of the house,and I tried to install a updated driver,but I can't get on the internet,plus it said unknown name of driver.Do you think if I got another wireless card,that would help?? I am really dumb about this stuff.

    Yes it would, just make sure it has drivers for windows 7 64 bit. Doing updates will only take an hour or so. Being Saturday nite I would just move the computer for a bit. These are things you have to think about b4 you do an install.

    Also if you would post your specs as mentioned earlier, we might have been able to direct you to the correct driver.
