Laptop is getting stuck on windows welcome screen..

    Oh ok, so it will be the same menu? I noticed when I do put it in it gives me the black screen with the option of startup repair or start windows normally, is it suppose to do that or is it suppose to run straight to the disc? I will try it

    So i will know the disc is working if it first says searching for installed windows?

    When you clicked on the ISO file is this the window that opened? If so, it should be bootable.

    Also, when you hit F12 did you get a list of all hard drives and your CD/DVD player? And did you select the CD/DVD player and hit enter?

    no i dont believe i seen that box, and yes i hit f12 and got he list and hit the cd/dvd player drive, soon as i hit it i hear the cd start turning but then from there like i said it takes me right to the same recovery menu i had before i even put the disc in

    As it listed the menu up, the disk is working . Now let the startup repair to run.

    ok i clicked to repair startup and it shows me nothing different from the last time without the cd, it's saying attempting repairs but does not say what it is attempting to repair just has the bar going across

    ok definitely did not work because the same box popped up and said startup cannot repair computer automatically. This is the 2nd iso disc i tried to download and failed. Not exactly sure where I am going wrong

    Ok I am going to go through step by step process of downloading the iso file and burning it again, first..should i get a new cd or will this be fine?
