What program burned the disk. You can't copy the ISO file to the Disk. It must be burned to disk with an ISO burning program.

that might be my problem then, i just downloaded the file then once it said done downloading another box popped up and said files waiting to be burned and I never used a iso file burning program so i am guessing it was not anything like that.

ok now before i get to that, when I click on the download link for the actual windows 64bit repair disc, I just save it to my computer like any normal file being downloaded? Do I have to make sure not to try and open it or what, any specific location to save the file under?

Just download it. Set the download location easy, as you could browse to it easily during burning.

    Different one .... obviously .

The files you have already burned, when you open them do you see something that looks like a small disk and says disk image file?
