Am I covered?
Okay, just wondering if I'm covered which I hope I am. First off I'm using Macrium Reflect the FREE edition. First thing was I reformatted my hard drive, using Diskpart and set up one partion (300 mb) for the system and the rest for the main drive. I than found a program to check the alignment on both and it said I was good to go. Then after that I down loaded all the drivers from Dell and installed them in order from a topic in the DELL Fourm. All the drivers that I have installed I put them as well on my D drive. Then I ran a virus checker (Norton) to check it out. Then after that I installed macrium Reflect and made a rescuse disk using a 32gb flash drive (USB) and made an image of the C drive. The drivers are also on my D drive and my flash card as well. Then after I installed programs, I made an image of the C drive and put a copy on my D drive as well as my USB drive. In addition to this, I have a program called GoodSync that when I make a change to some of my programs (excell, word, favorites, email, and sticky notes) that they are updated as well onto my 32GB USB. Poor USB only has 3GB left (LOL). In addition to all this, all my personal data are also on my D drive. So do you think I'm covered in case I lose my OS again?
ToolBox:
Everyone has a toolbox to make sure if something happens, they are covered as well. I have Reflect (Free) and Norton, Daemon and GoodSync. Are their any others that I would need?
My one question that I have is how can I test the images out or is it pot luck? Thanks.
