    CPU Opinions - 64 player maps. (Serious testimony)

    I am after no skipping, no drops of Framerate on battlefield MULTIPLAYER with 64 player maps. I dont demand Ultra settings. I can lower AA - SSAO type options.
    I just dont want skipping during traveling or aiming.

    I am trying to decide between the newer Amd fx 6100 chip and the AMD 970.
    I can't afford anything better. I wont settle for Intel duel core, they have no 150 quad.
    (Wish I had the extra 30 bucks. I don't), already pushing the limits of every piece, psu, mobo, ram, etc etc.

    I know the word on all the charts is that the amd x4s out perform the bulldozers FX chips.
    But of all the youtube videos Ive watched, (over 20, all i could find on all chips in question).
    This guy is praising the fx 6100 chip. even stating Zero Frame skips. While recording with fraps.
    When I watch Fraps youtube videos of the AMD x4 970 era chips, I specifically see imperfect video recording. I cant find any AMD 900 series chips that produce Videos as smooth as this guy is with his fx 6100.
    Its even max high def recording.

    Granted.. Im sure the Fraps benefit most likely comes form the 6 cores.
    Without fraps the x4 chips may have the edge in the very end.

    But if the 6100 chip can run fraps on full HD, I would imagine it will keep up just as well in 64 player combat. ( I dont care about recording as much as stable frames during heavy battles).

    ====================

    I think Im going with the fx 6100 chip. Even though I've heard people say they arnt as impressed as they thought they would be with the FX line.

    I wish the fx 4100 chip ran at the same speed as the 6100, only difference being 4 cores instead of 6.

    I also like the huge cache the 6100 series provides.

    ====================

    Point of this thread, is to ask others, Am I making the wrong decision?
    Anyone have first hand experiance with these chips and 64 player maps?

    I keep going back and forth. But this video shows the highest quality record.

    Then I notice the clock speeds 3.3ghz on the fx 6100 and and 3.5ghz on the 970 chip and start to doubt my decision.

    I would think the higher clock on the 970 x4 is what makes it best in the end.
    But like I said... the 3.3ghz 6100 chip is recording HD video WHILE playing the game even better... nearly proving that the 3.3 with the huge cache is doing a better job X_x....
