there isn't going to be upgrading for old computers 2008 and older.
i say this because i have tried windows seven and it is slow even on my newest computer it is very sad and all three of my computers are power house is anyone else having this problem...
You're jumping to conclusions. So we can better assess your compatibility with Windows 7, please put your system specs in your User CP/Profile. I've heard of low-end computers resulting in performance gains from upgrading to Windows 7 Beta, so perhaps this is related to a faulty ISO or a motherboard/BIOS issue.

just so you know, i loaded windows 7 on a machine i built three years ago for my son now lying unused. abit motherboard, amd processor, 2 gb ram on that unit. saphire graphics, fired right up, except for onboard lan. an external nic card solved that in under a minute (dlink). if you can get vista compat drivers for it, it will run. btw, it runs great.

if you are having issue, my first question would be are you using a brand name (i only use abit or asus myself) motherboard or a proprietary board from dell or similar manufacturer?

I only wished AIM worked on Windows Seven.

You can install the old AIM 5.9. I don't like the new AIM (6.0+) and immediately downloaded and installed AIM 5.9 without any problems.
