    Start Menu and explorer search thingy gone


    Hi! After I used 7 for awhile, my Start Menu and explorer search thingy was gone! Picture attached below. i tried deleting the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\find\legacydisable. But to no avail. SO is thr a way to solve this?

    Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off
    Make sure Windows Search is checked.

    Btw when i press F3, a windows pops up and says search: Class not registered.

    Reboot. Then check.

    I found out that somehow Windows Search was not INSTALLED.
