desktop stops responding after login

    i ment the system ran fine no problems

    i have the same problem but all that happend was i got a smaller resolution

    i uninstalled the driver and all that happened is the resolution changed but the problem still persists

    and what i mean by "ya it ran perfectly" is that the problem was fixed but im trying to fix it wih out eraceing every thing

    i forgot to also mentsion that i was getting these disk consistancey checks after the windows simbol

    if not, try running in safe mode and see if explorer crashes still.

    i was on my phone and i thought it would cause confusion any way i have a different problem now

    the problem is now i go to reset my computer and i get a disk check and it stalls on the second step around 17000 files in and the first step i get a bunch of messages saying file is unreadable then it processes like 28 bad files and deletes 2 orphan files any way to fix this?

    you can give SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker a try to see if you have file violations. If so you may need to run it 3 times, rebooting between each.
