    Windows7 UAC -Shortcut shields

    Hi All,
Can any one suggest me the behaviour of UAC shield in desktop shortcut.
Suppose if i set UAC as "Always notify" should all desktop icons have that shield ?
and also if i set UAC as "Never notify" should all desktop icons should be without shield ?
I will be thankful if anyone help in this regard.

    Thanks,
    Krishna

Only shortcuts/programs that are designated to run as Administrator (every time) will have the shield.

    Thankslogicearth ...
But my doubt is why the changes made in UAC settings are not reflecting in these shortcuts. Why "Never Notify" option not removing the shield? or why "Always notify" option is not bringing the sheild?

Be cause the shortcuts still run as Administrator. The "Never Notify" options only tells UAC not to prompt you.
