I would need something already existing into WinXP, the possibility to create a folder into the start menu, containing some links to files.
BUT the behaviour of this folder should be similar to "Recents items" or, to better explain, when I click onto this folder, I only should have to...
i dragged the System Restore link from the program menu to the Start menu and it no longer appears
on the program menu. Is there a way to put a System Restore link back on the program menu and have the links in both places?

I would like to have a command prompt link in the start menu along with the other habitual links
I don't use the command so often to stick a shortcut in taskbar
But when I need it , going to program--> accessories--> command...:sick:
I also don't use keyboard keys,doing all on mice exept...
I think the only thing that will work here is a registry hack.
By default if you set the start menu properties to display "favorites" it does so by a menu. It does not give you a choice to display this as a link or a menu like it does for other folders.
Is there a way to fix this?
recently i tried to open the music link in the start menu and i noticed that after clicking on it, nothing happened, so im really mad because i cant get into me music folder and i have to open the "NAME" link where are my documents, my photos , my videos , my music etc. :cry:
