Hello, I just joined in desperate need of some help with a Windows 7 Administrator problem. I hope this place can provide me with answers I could not find from reading other threads from other places that seem to have a similar problem to mine. Yet still not quite the same issue.

I am a digital artist looking to work on animating and comic illustration. I am no longer a college student because of...life.

Hello all, I'm a long-time XP holdout who recently was drafted (well, OK, I was the only volunteer) to become admin of a couple of Win7 Pro machines. I decided to upgrade my long-in-the-tooth home machine to 7 so I could at least be able to bring up the equivalent dialog boxes, etc. on my machine to help someone remotely when they call me in a panic (the users of the two machines are not at all computer-savvy). Late last week I did a fresh install of 7 and so far, with a couple of minor issues (printer support the main one), things are looking just fine. The amount of information here is just amazing, and I made use of a lot of it while planning the upgrade. Thanks to all those who took the time to share.
