Welcome GrazyD and welcome back Chase

It depends on what type of certification? Just general?

CompTIA A+ covers everything, but mostly the fundamentals of hardware.

    Hi Britton,
This is so funny. I thought that you were using Microsoft Security Essentials as your Anti-Virus until I read that you were using Norton Internet Security 2013 on your desktop. I had a very bad experience with Norton 360 it almost ruined my Mom's Desktop Windows XP it froze it and I had to uninstall it to install Avira Free Anti-Virus which is working well. I'm just glad that you are happy with using Norton.
I use Microsoft Security Essentials on my Laptop: Windows 7 Home Premium.

Hello, my name is Danny, and I'm a software engineer in the Silicon Valley. I mainly registered here to ask some technical questions, but this looks like a nice place to hang out. I look forward to becoming a part of this amazing community!
