W7 does just run, for a lot of people. Check our Tutorial section for any specifics, it covers just about everything.

I've recently crossed the waters from the Apple Island to the Windows World. I've been using Apple computers since they were black and white, but last night I, with the help of an experienced builder, built my first Windows computer. I have virtually no idea what I'm doing on Windows, but I am here to learn. I am a moderate computer user with more knowledge than the average person, but not an expert by any means. I hope to change that.

I have built a fairly capable computer one might say. If there are any quick tips or tricks to Windows 7 that aren't in the "Getting Started" files I would certainly appreciate them. Thank you!

Well hello everyone I'm fairly new to sevenforums but not new to windows :). They have been a pain my 12 years of been on them which was from a young age and now currently studying A+ and network + so hopefully I will go more into networking. I'm fairly good with computers and problems, but there is still stuff out there that still keeps me at them :)

Thank you all! I haven't had much time to do anything on it the past few days, but I have this weekend off so I should be able to get a lot done! I also try to get some pics of the build, if there is an interest in that kinda stuff around here.
