Hello everyone. I have been lurking here for a while getting some pointers and can't believe the patience the moderators and other experienced members have dealing with noobies like myself. Other forums I belong to, kinda get short fused. Sometimes I read instructions on here that the majority fly through them, when I get stuck somewhere. Some brave member occasionally comes on and states "He does not understand" a section of the instructions. Way too many times you guys with the knowledge come on and repeat what you suggested a 1000 times before with no smart remarks attached. And most of the times, rookies like myself deserve it. So I decided to join and learn.

My grand kids tell me my system is slow and should upgrade my XP desktop to something more recent. So I just acquired a used HP Pavilion P6310f which runs Windows7 Home. I will be joining the thread "dual boot 7 & XP" to get help.

So I thank you for all the input and patience you guys provide everyone.
    slowpoke.
