Hey thank you everyone for being so kind, have not been to the Forum for long expanses of time (primarily due to "wall-crawling" computer problems and health not so crash-hot) and have missed seeing a lot of Posts that people such as Dave76 have written here (have barely even seen much more of this Website than this actual area) so hope this post can explain why i have seemed to be so unresponsive: unfortunately the CyberWorld keeps on being gatecrashed by the "Real World"!!!
Hi, there. My name's Wenda, and some of you may know me from EightForums.
After my Consumer Preview of Windows 8 expired, and only having one copy of
the retail Windows 8, I decided to restore my original Win 7 Ultimate SP1 setup
on that machine (see my system specs).
Although I do like Win 8 I've always liked Win 7, since the first day I installed the
beta, so having decided to keep it I also decided to become a member here due
to my experiences (mostly good) on EightForums.
As those who know me from there can verify, I'm a bit of an 'OS Nut', and have
many of them. Mostly MS, but there are several Linux distros, GEOS, BeOS, Amiga
and a few others.
Anyway, thank you for accepting me as a new member, and I look forward to the
opportunity both learn more myself and to assist others who are having problems.
Cheers...
Wenda.

Welcome to the Windows 7 side of things Wenda, I'm sure you'll soon prove to be an asset here.
