    Hi Ztruker,
Sorry for the typho (type errors).
It should have been "Configuration is resetting it'self in the personalisation settings"
To make my self clear: The persolisation icon has a red stop sign. And when I
set a new screen saver, mystify I use, after 10-20 seconds it goes back to none

I hope it is more clear now -SS is screensaver. Sorry for the mistake.
I was a bit confused - no screensaver now I have a lit screen all the time

    Thanks for the help

    What anti-virus are you using?
Any other AV/anti-spyware software, like Spybot Search & Destroy or any that try to protect you from changes made to your system? Let's see what's installed and running:

Download and install CCleaner from the following link: CCleaner - Standard

During installation, uncheck the option to install the Yahoo toolbar.

Start CCleaner. Click on Tools (ICON) and Select the following BUTTONS to create two (2) text files:

    * Uninstall > Save to text file (install) – bottom right corner of app window
    * Startup > Save to text file (startup)

Locate and open each saved file in the ‘Documents’ FOLDER:

    * Copy and paste the contents of each file into your next post (2 files).

and it changes to Albanian in 5-10 s econds. I do not understand Albanian
so I cannot do anything. Something strange happened this afternoon after a Restore 4 days ago : The stop sign in the personlization icon on the desktop
went away and the screensaver worked again until 3 hours ago.
I cannot do no suggestions copy and paste so I can give no results.
Is there a virus active? Yesterday the avast av stopped working and after some playing with it it started to work again - giving me secure protection

Is this the work of a new virus??
Thanks for the help and suggestions

Sure sounds like some kind of malware infection.

Try running Malware Bytes Anti Malware (free) and see if it shows anything. You can run this in Safe Mode with Networking if necessary.

I have no idea what StopZilla did for you that resolved your problem but you can't argue with success.

    Thanks
