Removing Submenus on Shortcuts Pinned to Start Menu

Hi guys, it's really annoying to have submenus on items pinned to the start menu. Is there a way I can get rid of them ?

    Thank you.

I'm not sure what you are asking. What exactly is pinned that you don't want?
Try this; right click Start/Properties/Customize and sort through there.

Uncheck the marked box, then OK > Apply.

Right click start > Properties > remove check from "Share and Recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar"
    See att.

The arrows is not the problem. It is the 'fly outs'. Did you do what I suggested.

Put what I have highlighted in red to 0 that will remove the arrows.
