    Error on Log in: No additional hard drives available for migration


    G'day,

    I have just done a clean install of Win 7 Pro 64bit on my PC after doing some upgrades...... It was a nightmare to get it even to install for some reason.....

    For some reason, every time i log on, i get the message "Warning! No additional hard drives available for migration"

    I have no idea how to eradicate the problem! I have googled and searched for the answer to no avail. It goes as soon as i click OK, but it is just irritating!

    Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

    PC Specs are:

    Intel: i7 3930K
    M/B: Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2
    Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengence
    HDD: 2 x 120GB Corsair Force 3 in RAID0 (OS and some games)
    HDD: 2 x 600GB Velociraptor in RAID0 (Main program location)

    Vid: Gigabyte 580GTX

    Hello,

    Start your PC in safe mode and see if the error comes up then. It is probably a program starting when your PC turns on which is causing the error.

    Enter Safe mode by pressing "F8" when the computer is starting up (Before Windows Starts) and select Safe Mode.

    If you dont get the message then it will be a startup program or service. Let us know how you get on.

    Hey Dave,

    Thanks for your help, turns out Windows fixed itself..... after doing this for the last week, as of today..... no warning.... Just a Windows thing I suppose!

    I will see if it stays away though!

    well, found out what it was.... it was some Gigabyte hard drive optimisation software.....

    Cheers for the help Dave, the whole safe mode was how i found it!

Error with all hard drives?

Hi everyone! I am having trouble fixing an error in my hard drive. Whenever i click on any folders in any hard drive this error pops up. However if i right-click then open its fine, its just whenever i double click on folder this error pops up. Can anybody help me? Thank-you, Sunny
