Need to find my desktop picture.

    Hi,

I have a very important picture as desktop background picture on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, but I cannot find the folder where the picture is saved...
In which folder is it saved ?
Thank you very much for the time spent with this issue.

C:\Users\Admin\Pictures, replace Admin with your username.
if it's not there then try looking into C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp

    Welcome to Seven Forums joiquim.
Another place to check is C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper

Thank you very much, the first option sends me to the Lightroom Catalog folder ???
The other one does not have the picture.

If you remember the picture name then just click on start and type the picture name in search box.The relevant results will show up.Right click on the picture and click on properties. It will show you the path where picture is saved.

    Hope this helps

Or here, for currently loaded wallpaper...

    C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\TranscodedWallpaper.jpg

AppData is a hidden file by default,
