I would say to keep the 177 GBs as is for now, format it from windows after you straighten this out and use it to store system images on after you get everything back the way you want it.

I tapped F10, and got into the Vaio Recovery Center. But, I didn't restore the computer yet. I'm gonna hold off. I don't get it, everything is working fine now. That external HDD still doesn't work when I plug it in. Like I said, I'll hold off for the time being, and give it a few days. If it happens again, then I'll just restore the whole thing, and start from scratch.
As far as the 177 GB. How do I format it and store system images?
