What is the next Step up ?

...No, what is 3 Big steps up ?

I want to get computer power.

I want a real powerfull computer.

What should I ask for when I buy a new computer ?

I LOVE building computers :) how much do you want to spend, and what do you want it do do?

Kinda kidding, but you do need to be specific for something like this...

I have the itch for a new PC, but i ask myself, why...

For a real performance boost get yourself a solid state drive first and an i7 CPU second - other than that, what you have is pretty good.

    I like that!!.
If you stick to the PC you want, you may have to ignore the cash.
If you can figure out the spec you need, you may spend less.

please listen to what others here are saying.

if your PC does not do something well enough for you now, such as a new game, post that info - what is the problem with your current PC?

for people i support, most often those that want a new PC just need a re-install of the OS to clean up bloatware and "junk" installed over time...

    You're very welcome.

What is a Solid State Drive (SSD)?

If you do not sit and think about what you want your new pc to do that your present pc does not you will most probably spend money for something that you really do not need.

If you have a desktop why not share more specifics beginning with your motherboard.

You say that your current pc is not enough. What do you mean? It's not enough to do what? What is it that you want to do? You say that you want a faster computer. I think you would agree that you don't necessarily need a new pc in order to have a faster pc. You already have 6GB of RAM!

Maybe the tasks that you want to perform or the games that you want to play will only require a slight improvement upon the pc you already have.
It is always possible to buy or build a pc that can do more than the one you have but the question is, is it necessary?

If it is that you have some extra cash and you just want a new pc, well, that's a different story and one that I can easily understand as I've been there myself. But even if this is the case, first sit and think and plan. Buying a new pc should incorporate tomorrow's needs as well as today's in so far as that is possible.
