    POST question information please read.

This may be confusing at frist so ill just get right into it. When i turn my computer on the POST is skiped and goes right to loading the OS which is windows 7. however i can still hit Esc to go to the BIOS menu during the time that the POST would be visible before windows loads. Another weird thing that somtimes happens. i leave the computer off for the night the next day ( maybe about 9 hours) i turn the computer on and the POST shows up. but only the once. any other time during the day it would skip the POST for example on restart. Now i dont know what to think about this at all from all the research i have done i cant seem to put my hand on what may or may not be wrong. the POST just loading so fast that i dont see it or is it something else. i need some help. thank you.

The Bios has options to enable you to see what`s going on during post or maybe just show a quick splash screen (company logo ) As long as you can get to your Bios don`t worry about it.

IF you could please update your windows specs
System Info - See Your System Specs
Easiest way is to do it automatically, like mention in step 7.

I mainly care about what motherboard it has. After that i can probably find the details about the error codes and beeps.
However most computers have a single beep that means sucessful boot.

Don't need to be paranoid :)

It sounds like you have an AMI Bios in your motherboard.

Yours is a long beep meaning all test have pass.
