What often works to program a window's default opening size is to drag the window to the size and position you want it to open, then click several times the Maximize box at top right next to the red X, to program the window to remember the default size and position.

    Dear opticaltech,
A warm welcome to the Forums! Britton30's suggestion will help you to position the window where you want. gregrocker's suggestion will help you to "increase" the size of the opened window.

    regards and best wishes,
    sree

Do all programs work this way for you, or just Chrome?

Can you try using IE and see if that remembers the last position?
If Chrome is the only program with this problem you can try:

    1. disabling addons and see if that fixes it
    2. uninstall Chrome using Revo uninstaller and re-installing

Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

If most programs don't remember the "Last Position" you may have system problems.
