Probably psu but

Hi again

Having to use my phone since my computer refuses to turn on now. The lights will come on and the psu and hard drives will spin for about 0.5 seconds and everything will shut down. Then it will repeat this process over and over. I can't even get to the bios or get anything displayed on screen. That's why I think maybe the psu has had it. It's only 5 months old of that...

I've tried changing sockets and changing power options (surge protect, normal cheap 4 gang, wall) all with the same effect.

Can someone confirm it's more or less the psu before I go and rage the company?

Edit. Yesterday I did change one small thing in the BIOS. Turned wake on pme event to off to stop it turn on web ever I switched something else off after turning the pc off

Thing is for the last 5 months everything has been ok. But I've double checked every connection from the psu to the motherboard. CPU hasn't seen daylight since it was first built. But I've got the psu main connection, the psu to CPU connection. CPU fan, 2 ssds, 1 hdd, 1 optical drive and a handful of other fans

Quick test:
Disconnect everything except the motherboard, cpu and its fan. See if it powers up to POST. If it does-start adding 1 device at a time and repeat. I would start with the DVD/CD Drive. Continue adding devices, including case fans, until the unit fails to POST. Could be PSU and that can be tested with an Antec tester or similar. Could also be one of the drives. Otherwise try another power supply with a higher output rating than what you have.
