Windows 7 Era: This is going to be annoying!

It's already a problem in every Windows 7 community, and it's going to grow with the release date being soon..

People are using every method they can to spell the "7" in Windows 7 -- for example, you see people using: Se7en, S7n, 7n, and S7N.

This new "fab" is actually more annoying to me than the "cool" kids spelling Microsoft as "Micro$oft" and "M$" (God help them).

What convinces people to use "Se7en" instead of "7"? The proper, if you will, way to spell "Windows 7" is exactly how I just spelled it. Not only does "Se7en" not make any sense ("Se-Seven-en"), but it's longer -- why would you want to type that? Not only does it not make sense.. but it looks atrocious.

Not that I support it, but if you look at the 7 in "Se7en", it looks like a V that's been rotated about 100 degrees to the left.

Consult a doctor. Please don't spread the epidemic. Windows 7 rocks!

    Win7 or W7 for me

Strange...I actually posted a shortened version of the Windows 7 name. There must be a script on this server changing nicknames to the full name.

Forum rules do state that Admins can mess with our posts... W.7 or Win.7

I used Se7en because it fit better on the left hand side of the screen. I'm sorry if it offends you.
