    Search for single folder

I'm sorry if this has been answered, but: Is there a way, a syntax or something, that will allow me to find a single folder on a drive. 1) I know the folder is on the drive: it may be a subfolder. 2) The folder's name is one word. 3) No other folder on the drive has this one word as a name. 4) I don't want results that show what's in the folder. 5) I don't want results that show folders or files with multi word names that contain the name I'm looking for. I just want to see this one folder with it's one word name. Is this possible on 7 Pro 64?

Type it in search and see what happens.

When I type the name in the search box on a particular drive, I get a long list of everything that is in that folder on that drive, plus anything else on the drive which contains the name I am searching for in a multi-named folder and all their contents. Within that list is indeed the one I am looking for, but there are thousands of things to look through. I just want the one folder. Thanks.

Are you typing in the name of that 1 folder ? Are you sure your not looking for a file ?

I am typing in the single word which is the name of the folder. The word appears in many paths to different folders and documents, but this is the only folder on the drive that has this single word for its name.

Have a look at this advanced query syntax link: Advanced Query Syntax (Windows)

Thank you very much. A combination of kind: and filename: did the trick. Many thanks to all.
