    7 booting screen...

Hi I remember reading about the new 7 booting screen, the colours that seemed to whirl around. Did this make it into the beta?

Only my boot just shows the same as all previous builds and Vista, just the bar on it's own...

If other people have the colourful logo, did you have to activate it in some way?

Just wondering if it's something to do with only running 512Mb RAM...

    Thanks.

There is nothing special that you need to do to have the new boot screen, did you download the official Beta from Microsoft or is your build from a torrent site? Also I believe that you are meant to have a minimum of 1 Gig Memory so maybe that is why yours is disabled.

    Hi Kayzee,

Did you do a upgrade install from Vista to Windows 7?

    Hello Kayzee...

I've had this problem on a notebook with 1024x600 resolution, as Airbot refers to my related thread. However, I've seen somewhere in this forum that it might also have to do with a messed dual boot with Vista, in which case you wouldn't have the correct boot loader starting.

Do you have the extra 200MB hidden partition under Disk Management?
