    Urgent help

My Windows 7 computer (desktop) is less than four months old, it has a 1 terabyte hard drive, which is split up into two. Stupidly, I made the second hard drive the primary one and when I restarted my computer, it gives me the bootmgr message, where you have to press ctrl + alt + delete which does nothing. I have searched this up and it says that you need an installation disk, but mine was already installed.

Please, any help would be appreciated.

Enter BIOS setup and change the Boot Order back to the correct Win7 HD. Save settings and exit.

If this fails then explain exactly what you did to change the Primary HD as you need to undo it. You said you have one HD and then said you made another HD Primary. Please clarify.

If you changed the Active flag to another partition, then you need to change it back and possibly run Startup Repair a few times until it starts to repair or rewrite the System boot files to the correct partition - which will be either Win7 partition or it's 100mb System Reserved partition if you have it:
Partition - Mark as Active (Method Two)
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

How did you change it if you say you only have 1 hard drive ? You can most certainly get into the BIOS to do what Greg said. How many hard drives do you actually have ?

I think the OP means partitions ,not drives

Ya I got that but then he says hard drive. You can`t make a partition primary or secondary. Yes ?
