hi , I wan't to disable the playlist history for windows media player how can I disable this feature

right click on the whitespace in the start menu click properties and then uncheck the second checkbox in the startmenu tab

(but this will disable frequent items for all the programs)

To disable the history for ONLY WiMP...

You can also change the way the jumplist works by going to Tools > options in WMP;
