Did you create the DWORD value or the QWORD value? I have 64bit OS however i created the DWORD value and it worked for me. when i shut down my pc, it says things like ending programs, stopping services, etc. and while restarting it says Please Wait for User Profile Service, Preparing your Desktop, etc.

Mine takes too long to Restart. It's fast at shutting down and a cold bootup.

What am I missing here? Possibly looking in all the wrong places? .... I do that very well
'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System'

Hi Jacee, you are going right. Now on the right side pane, right click on an empty area and click New?DWORD Value and name it as verbosestatus
Then double click it and change its value to 1
