The 6950 TwinFrozer III is a great card. Before you buy anything off of ebay, make sure they are a certified vendor for MSI, otherwise the warranty may not stand up.

And, to answer this best, the motherboard is the backbone for any build. My best advice is to first figure out if the case your current PC is in will be worth hanging on to.
