MS Security Essentials slows down file transfer/PC?

I've been using MS SE Beta since it came out on W7 x64 7100 Ultimate RC and few days ago I installed W7 7600 x64 Pro RTM and also updated MS SE to 1.0.1500.0 and I'm 100% sure that MS SE Essentials slows down my PC, especially while copying/transferring files/folders between partitions/over the network (PC1 to PC2 etc).

I tested transferring many time with MS ES on/off and I can say for sure MS slows down file transfer significantly, e.g.

    8GB between PC1 and PC2 and also 8GB from partition A to partition B

With MS ES ON = 8 mins
With MS ES OFF = 4/5 mins
With MS SE OFF and AntiVir ON = 4/5 mins

I really like the idea of having MS providing Firewall/AntiVirus/AntiMalware/built in CD/DVD burner program etc cause I strongly believe it would be less potential conflicts to the OS.

I no longer need Nero and 3rd party Firewall after testing out Windows 7 built in Firewall and CD/DVD burner program, MS did an excellent job here.

I know MS SE is still very new, and I would rather not use the good old AntiVir, however the slowdown of transferring files bother me, cause I do a lot of transferring between my partitions/PCs (12 TB).

Any suggestions? or should I disabled the "Monitor file and program activity on your computer" under Settings - Real Time Protection?

    Thanks in advance.

Not so much a suggestion, but it may be that MS has debug code built into the beta. I noticed a big increase in the speed of Win7 when I went from RC to RTM. I think they take out a lot of stuff to help them diagnose and probably report back to them. Maybe it will be the same with MSE.
