Advanced (regular expresssion) searching in Explorer

    Hello,

I use a 12 field file naming convention for all of my Explorer files.

    Example
    u_20120131_20120101_20120202_BarBP00_HowRK00_n_e_f_Statement_z.pdf

Field 2 above is 20120131, which is an expiration date.

I want to be able to search in Explorer for all files with field 2 having a date in a certain range (e.g. 20120131 through 20120228). This would be quite easy with a regular expression.

I don't think Explorer itself has this functionality, but does anyone know of a tool that will enable me to search for Explorer files using regular expressions?

    Thanks.

    Keith

Thanks David. FileLocator Lite looks like a really good product. I have installed it and am learning regular expressions in it now.

    Cheers.
