Open With message. What's this all about

I was greeted with this message on boot up this morning. I never got it before. I tried a reboot and got the same message.

Since it is so non specific I have no idea what to click on. I am so grateful for you experts on this forum whom I am sure can end this problem. I don't have a clue.

    Thanks.

Hmm, that's interesting. Is there a file or something else in your startup folder?

I wouldn't click on anything yet.

If you scroll towards the bottom of your start menu in the "all programs" area you'll see the start up folder.

    It is also here,

    C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

But AppData is normally a hidden folder.

    Got it!

I found the folder Joseph under users. I sure as heck didn't make it. Double clicked it and it brought up the graphic you've already seen.
    Deleted it and rebooted --gone.

    Any idea what caused it?

See, I knew an expert would come along. Any idea what caused it?

I see nothing on all programs.

    Thanks

Not really, that's why I thought it was interesting.

Glad you got it back to normal.

    Yep

Looks like I was typing while you were. That explains the disjointed post from me.

    Thanks for the info.
