    "invalid iso file" error message in windows 7usb/dvd tool


    i had a iso file of windows 7 ultimate.
    i want to format my laptop..so i thought of creating a bootable dvd.

    but when i was selecting the iso file of windows 7 ultimate...it is giving an error message as "invalid iso file"

    can any one help me how to fix this??

    Hi,

    When are you getting this error message, have you tried to burn the ISO to a DVD?

    You can download it again from here: Download Windows 7 ISO (Official 32-bit and 64-bit Direct Download Links)

    Use ImgBurn to create the DVD at the slowest speed available, usually 4X.

    while i clicked "next" in the first step itself i am getting this error...

    then i thought its the prob of software and tried to select microsoft office iso file...

    at that time i didn't get any error...

    i tried to burn a dvd in "free iso burner"....and it was fine..but it was not a bootable dvd....

    What if you try burning another ISO, you can download it from the link Ztruker provided in a previous post.
