    Windows Task Scheduler

I'm trying to run a task every 12 hours, but doesn't seem to work, keeps saying an instance of the task is already running but nothing happens, how do I run it every 12 hours?

Is an instance of the task actually running? Check Task Manager to find out.

Yes there is but does not run and sometimes I get a 0x2 error which I cannot find in the windows task scheduler error list. How can I run the task every 12 hours, can you provide settings?

Will the task run if you launch it directly?

What is this task? If it can effect system-wide changes it will probably be coded to run only one instance at a given time.

Nothing of that sort, it downloads files for updating via command prompt then zips them into the appropriate folders.
