This is very interesting, by right settings in IE shouldn't have any direct impacts on the OS, but this case proven that's wrong, it does have direct impact on the OS! I'm just glad I got that feature back, cause I save lots of files everyday.

Hello,
Somehow, I no longer have the ability to save to my desktop. I used to be able to save documents, etc to my desktop, but now the option to save it there has disappeared.
Does anybody have any idea on how I can retrieve it or reset it?
Thanks for the help!
Cheers,
I have been using Windows Live Mail for about a month. I am still trying to set it up so that I can have all of my messages at the top left, and not within each email account.
I have set up Quick Views which covers most, but not deletes. Noting the Storage Folders at the bottom, I "moved up"...
I want to make a backup disk of my Windows Mail contact list, in case I ever need to re-install Win Mail and don't have to manually type in all the names. Where is the Windows Mail folder located and what is the contact file link? Thank you for your help.:D
