Not really an issue, Lithium Ion batteries are quite tolerant to this. My laptop stays plugged into a dock all day at work and slowly discharges every night when I am at home.

It's ok as long as you unplug your laptop once a month and let the battery COMPLETELY drain out of power. Then plug it back in. If you hardly ever use your battery in your laptop, just take the battery out of the laptop and use it without a battery (Note: if you unplug the AC adapter, your laptop will shut off completely.

That might be true for non-lithium-ion batteries. But draining a lithium battery does infact reduce its life every single time. There is no reason to drain a lithium battery and charge it again. No reason to do it.
