    What is my Internet speed?

    Hi,
how can I find out what my internet speed is?

I want to add to my "system specs" , on my profile.
I would also like to know details of my "Motherboard" (same reason)

I have learnt a lot through this Forum. It works for me.

    Thank you.

dslreports.com or speedtest.com will tell you your upload and download speeds.

System Information for windows (SIW) is good for both hardware and software info. Download SIW 1.63 then just run it, no install needed.

    ..thank you,
I opened that link and ran test.

    It said; ping 12ms
    download 19.2Mbps
    upload 0.49Mbps

    Is that OK ?

Depends, what are you paying for?

    I get 13mS / 23.27Mbps / 2.05Mbps

I'm paying for Road Runner Lightening which should give me 20Mbps so I'm happy with my numbers.

I don't know what I'm paying for. I pay 60 bucks per month for Broadband cable, through Optus. What I don't know, even alarms me !

Contact them and ask what your speed should be.

    Yeah..done that.
And by the way, try as I might, I just don't seem to be able to upload a screenshot that appears the same way as you guys do it.
