programs missing

    programs missing


    Friends,when i click on the start menu instead of appearing all programs present in my pc only few programs appear.i have posted a picture for ur better understanding.please help me out.thanks:)

    In addition to the above advice, check to see if the programs are listed in windows explorer. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu and see if the programs are listed there. The folder ProgramData is hidden. Make sure you have set hidden folders to be visible. If the programs are not there go to C:\Users\User Name here\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

    If the programs are not listed in either of those folders even when hidden files are set to be visible, try scanning for malware using Malwarebytes Anti-malware. How to use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to scan and remove malware from your computer.

    Report back the results so we can then go on to some more advanced ideas.

    PS. Just for future reference, the best way to get an image of your screen is to use the Snipping Tool located under the accessories folder.
